Lake Lavon is located near Wylie Texas just off Hwy 78 in Collin County just N.E. of Dallas Texas. It has a surface area of approximately 21,400 acres, with a depth of 59 ft. Lake Lavon was created in 1953 and expanded in 1974 which nearly doubled it’s size.
