The snapping turtle can be an elusive character. To catch one you need to try and think like he or she would. Where would a turtle go for a bite to eat? What would it enjoy eating? Generally speaking, turtles are solitary animals. Personally, I think they’re just not good company for anything, not even another snapper.

Blue Fish

Growing up in Ohio and in a family of avid anglers, we were always going somewhere new and exciting. My dad was constantly watching a fishing show or reading the latest article on the subject of fishing. He must have seen or heard about the blue fish that was being caught off the coast of New Jersey, for it was not long before we were planning and packing for yet another great fishing excursion.

Catching of crabs can be a great fun but before you go on to do so, get yourself legally registered. There are also a couple of points that you have to keep in mind to making the practice completely legal. The best part is that the cooking does not take much time and you also do not have much time to delay cooking after catching the crabs.

The Love of Fishing

When I was growing up my favorite thing to do was to go fishing. I love to fish. This incredible sport just plain amazed me. It didn’t hurt that my whole family was into fishing either. My Dad was the one who, if you’ll excuse the pun, got me hooked. I started out like most kids did, catching bluegill. That was the beginning of a love affair that has lasted more than forty years.

Big Bucks From Turtle Shells

Coming from a family that loves to fish, I quickly developed an interest in all things that had to do with water. The summer I’m writing about was my first summer trapping snapping turtles. I was still young, so I lived with my parents. We lived on a lake in the upper North East that was full of fish and snapping turtles.
